Alkhair Foundation implemented a winter clothing initiative for orphans in the Gaza Strip as part of a humanitarian response aimed at protecting vulnerable children from the cold and strengthening their sense of safety and dignity amid difficult living conditions.
The project included accompanying groups of orphaned children to clothing stores, where they selected winter garments and shoes that met their needs and preferences. This approach ensured appropriate sizing while giving children a natural space to choose, feel valued, and experience care and respect.
The intervention forms part of broader efforts to support the most vulnerable groups. Providing suitable winter clothing helps protect children from the effects of cold weather, improves their daily quality of life, and reinforces values of humanitarian solidarity and community participation.
