Alkhair Foundation has completed the construction of the Musab ibn Umair prayer hall in the Gaza Strip through a humanitarian initiative aimed at restoring reassurance, strengthening social solidarity, and ensuring residents can practice their religious rituals amid difficult conditions.
The establishment of the prayer hall comes in response to the widespread destruction that affected dozens of mosques in Gaza due to the conflict, depriving thousands of people of places of worship and disrupting regular religious practices and sermons that form a core part of spiritual and social life.
The project was implemented with the support of charitable donations. Alkhair Foundation documented all phases of construction, from initial building works to the official opening of the prayer hall, where the first Friday prayer and sermon were held, reflecting strong community cohesion and solidarity.
Alkhair Foundation affirmed that the construction of the prayer hall forms part of its broader programs addressing humanitarian and social needs alongside livelihood support. The Foundation emphasized the importance of preserving spiritual spaces that foster resilience, provide hope, and support psychological stability for affected communities.
