The Water Supply Piping Installation project is a critical initiative aimed at restoring access to clean and safe water for 235 households in Dusun Musara Hati, Jamur Ratu Village, Meusidah District, Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia, following severe floods and flash floods.
The disaster severely damaged the existing water infrastructure, leaving the community without reliable access to clean water for drinking, sanitation, and household use.
Installing a new water supply piping system is essential to meet the community’s basic needs, promote health and hygiene, and improve overall well-being, especially in preparation for Ramadan. The project addresses urgent water needs, reduces the risk of water-borne diseases, and supports daily activities, including the use of public facilities and places of worship.
The project will involve installing a new water supply piping system, including pipes, fittings, and connections, to ensure a reliable and safe water source for the affected community. Priority will be given to the most vulnerable households, with a focus on sustainability and community ownership.
