Pay a scourge

Charity has a remarkable effect in warding off adversity. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Acts of kindness protect against tragic ends” (narrated by al-Tabarani), and “Give charity early, for calamity does not pass beyond charity” (narrated by al-Bayhaqi). Give charity today to ward off adversity, help treat the sick, and support people in need around the world in living with dignity.
