Through the “Bas Law” Initiative, which empowers individuals toward professional independence, another dream has come true in Gaza.
Mohammad Sheikh Al-Eid (40 years old), a graduate of Industrial High School specializing in Industrial Electronics and a father of six, faced severe economic hardship. Despite working in his field for years, limited job opportunities in his area prevented him from achieving stability.
Mohammad refused to give up. He worked in various temporary jobs, including selling cold water on the streets and seasonal agricultural labor. However, these jobs were not enough to support his family with dignity.
Three of his children suffer from epilepsy and require continuous medical treatment, while his other three children excel in school.
Recently, Mohammad started a small shoe-selling business in a busy commercial area. However, he needed a transportation vehicle to expand his business and move his goods efficiently.
Thanks to generous donors, a tuk-tuk vehicle worth $3,000 was provided, enabling Mohammad to grow his business, increase his income, and improve his family’s living conditions.
Today, Mohammad no longer depends on unstable seasonal work. He now owns a sustainable project that brings stability and renewed hope to his family.
The Bas Law Initiative did not give him temporary aid—it gave him a real opportunity for life.
