HU.roads, sponsored by Al-Khair Foundation, has launched a new humanitarian series titled “Heroes in the Shadows,” highlighting the extraordinary efforts of humanitarian workers during the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip.
The series consists of multiple episodes that document firsthand testimonies and powerful stories of individuals who worked away from the spotlight under extremely dangerous conditions, amid bombardment and destruction. Despite immense psychological and physical pressure, they supported civilians and helped save lives.
The episodes showcase inspiring examples from various humanitarian sectors, including medical services, relief work, media, and community services, reflecting a profound commitment to humanitarian values and moral responsibility in the darkest of circumstances.
The series aims to preserve the human memory of times of crisis and shed light on the silent efforts made to protect lives and promote the values of solidarity and resilience in the face of tragedy.
