Al-Khair Foundation, in collaboration with its partners in Iraq, has inaugurated Majd Al-Karama School as part of ongoing reconstruction efforts aimed at supporting the educational infrastructure in affected areas and reinforcing children’s right to education as a cornerstone for building the future.
The establishment of the school is part of a comprehensive vision to rehabilitate the learning environment and provide safe and inspiring educational spaces that enable future generations to continue their studies in stable and suitable conditions.
The project went through several key stages, starting with planning and field assessments, followed by construction and furnishing works, and concluding with final preparations to ensure a fully equipped educational environment that meets the needs of both students and teachers.
Local partners in Iraq expressed their appreciation for this initiative, highlighting the importance of collaboration in supporting the education sector as a fundamental pillar for development and reconstruction.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by students, their families, teachers, as well as representatives from Al-Khair Foundation and its partners. The event was marked by moments of joy and gratitude as the first school day began, reflecting renewed hope and the start of a new educational journey.
