From among the tents stands Salem Abu Al-Kass (23 years old) — a young man who holds certified training credentials from the Ministry of Labor in the field of hairdressing, and who helps support three families totaling 15 individuals.

Just one month before the war, Salem had fully completed the setup of his men’s barbershop after years of hard work and seven years of professional experience in the field.
But the war took both his home and his salon, turning the joy of launching his project into a sudden loss.

Salem did not surrender.

Today, he tries to work in front of his tent with very limited tools, using his expertise in hair cutting, coloring, and styling to serve loyal customers who still reach out to him, trusting his skill despite the lack of a proper workspace and equipment.

He works with what he has… and dreams of what could be.
