The public Questions and their answer
for Qurbani Project

Al-Khair Foundation distributes three types of meat:

• Fresh Meat: Fresh sacrificed meat is distributed to beneficiaries in most countries where both purchase and slaughter are carried out locally, and this process is carried out according to legal controls and strict medical observance, to ensure proper delivery to the beneficiaries.

• Frozen meat: In most countries such as Palestine, where sacrificial meat is particularly expensive, the sacrificial animal is slaughtered on its legal time in the State of Brazil, and shipped to be ready for distribution starting from the third day of Eid, which enables Al-Khair Foundation to reach more effective alternatives In terms of costs without compromising the quality of meat distributed.

 • Sadaqa Meat : Many Muslims around the world slaughter their sacrifices among their children, and they want to share some of this joy with their needy brothers, so they send separate sums of money as charity, through which they wish to contribute to increasing the amount of meat distributed to the poor to create an atmosphere of joy in holiday.

Al-Khair Foundation has three committees that supervise the sacrifice project:

Behind it stands a financial and administrative control system, all working towards ensuring the implementation of the project accurately and professionally.

The majority of scholars are of the view that the sacrifice is a confirmed Sunnah for every Muslim on the highest level, provided that he is able to do so.

Al-Khair Foundation slaughters thousands of sacrifices in many places around the world, therefore this cannot be done, and the International Union of Muslim Scholars has agreed that it is not necessary to mention the name of the person on whose behalf you are slaughtering, you can simply make the intention of your donation to this person and this is enough that the reward of the sacrifice goes to him, Inshallah.

The policy of Al-Khair Foundation includes that the beneficiaries are selected based on an evaluation system divided into grades in which families are ranked according to need. This system is based on the following objective criteria:

• Families that live on less than the local minimum income.

• Families headed by women.

• Families with members of the elderly/special needs.

• Children under 5 years old.

• Families with limited access have access to markets.
