Al-Khair Foundation – Middle East Office successfully raised the required amount for the first case under the “Bas Law” Initiative, which aims to support inspiring Palestinian youth in Gaza and help them strengthen their success and open new opportunities in life.
The foundation raised $2,000 to purchase a laptop for Abdul Karim Abu Laban (23 years old) just days after launching the initiative. He was surprised with the device, giving him the opportunity to begin a new professional chapter.
Abdul Karim graduated in Office Equipment Technology and became the primary provider for his family after his father’s passing. However, he was unable to find a job in his field and had to work in various other jobs to support his family.
He later discovered his strong talent in audio engineering and became highly skilled in the field, securing multiple projects. Yet, he needed a high-performance laptop with specific specifications to continue developing his career.
