Um Zaki’s family was living in a deteriorating house that was no longer suitable for living. The home was only 90 square meters and lacked the most basic requirements for safe housing.
In that small house lived a large family, and half of the children suffer from chronic illnesses, making daily life full of challenges and hardship.
Poverty was not the only problem. The poor condition of the house made life even more difficult and increased the suffering of the children and their mother, who carried the responsibility of caring for her family under extremely difficult circumstances.
By the grace of God, and thanks to the support of generous donors, we were able to renovate the house and improve the living conditions for Um Zaki’s family, turning it into a safer and healthier place for the family members.
Today, the family lives in a better home that provides them with a sense of stability and comfort, after their house had long been a source of constant fear and danger.
But Um Zaki’s story is not the only one…
In crisis and displacement areas, thousands of women are still living in very difficult conditions and need someone to stand by them with support and solidarity.
For this reason, Al-Khair Foundation continues its efforts through several projects that support women, including:
-
Renovating homes for families in need
-
Sponsoring families led by women
-
Providing Women’s Dignity Kits
-
Supporting essential needs for women in displacement areas
Your support can create another success story…
A story of a woman regaining safety, and a family finding hope once again.
